Contract, Full-Time or Part-Time, Onsite (School-Based)

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and provide therapy services for students with speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement IEP goals and monitor student progress
  • Participate in ARD meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff
  • Provide training to school staff on communication strategies and best practices
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Supervise SLP assistants when assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Florida SLP License (FLBSLP)
  • Florida Department of Education (DOE) Certification
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC)
  • Minimum of 1 year of supervised clinical experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Knowledge of assessment tools, therapy strategies, and behavior management techniques
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage deadlines and maintain emotional control in a dynamic school environment
