Key Responsibilities
• Operate and perform mammography imaging procedures according to departmental protocols.
• Maintain compliance with all FDA guidelines and accreditation standards for mammography.
• Ensure quality assurance, preventative maintenance, and accurate documentation of patient records.
• Verify exam orders, obtain patient history, and provide patient education.
• Assist with clerical tasks, supply management, and maintain a safe, organized imaging environment.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other staff to optimize workflow and patient care.
Required Qualifications
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Current registration in Radiology and Mammography (AART).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of background check and pre-employment drug screen.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Two or more years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, specifically in mammography.
• Experience working with electronic record systems such as PACS and RIS/HIS.
• Cross-training in other modalities like CT, MRI, or DEXA is a plus.
