Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 13-week travel assignment, night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care in a busy ER environment.
• Assist with patient triage, assessment, and treatment procedures.
• Perform advanced interventions such as RSI, sepsis management, stroke protocols, and central line placements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure patient safety and care continuity.
• Transfer patients to appropriate facilities following EMTALA guidelines.
• Document patient care accurately using electronic medical records.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of Virginia.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications.
• 2-3 years of ER experience.
• Successful completion of 2-3 prior travel assignments.
• Ability to manage high-acuity, fast-paced ER cases.
• Experience with patient ratios of 4-6:1.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in high-volume, high-acuity emergency departments.
• Familiarity with procedures like stroke protocols with tPA, central line insertions, and psych patient care.
• certifications in ENPC, NRP, NIH are a plus.
• Relaxed, friendly, team-oriented personality.
