Key Responsibilities
- Perform CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) procedures with a focus on pediatric cases.
- Ensure compliance with all travel and facility policies, including strict adherence to RTO and documentation requirements.
- Maintain all necessary certifications and licenses, including NBSTSA certification and active RN licensure.
- Participate in team efforts to deliver high-quality cardiovascular patient care within a hospital setting.
- Complete required documentation and follow protocols during shift hours.
- Support unit float requirements within designated geographic areas as needed.
Required Qualifications
- NBSTSA certification is mandatory.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with travel or 3 years of experience without travel.
- Pediatric CVOR experience required.
- Active RN license in the state or a valid compact license.
- Willingness to work during holiday periods if they fall during the assignment.
- Ability to live at least 100 miles from the facility.
- Experience with Cerner is preferred.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Additional pediatric or cardiovascular surgical experience.
- Prior travel experience preferred.
- Experience with unit float potential within a 20-mile radius.
- Strong documentation and compliance skills.
