Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric nursing care to patients in a hospital setting.
- Monitor and assess patients’ mental health status regularly.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient documentation.
- Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma or eligible for licensure.
- Experience or familiarity with psychiatric or mental health nursing preferred.
- Strong patient care and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic life support (BLS) certification required.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in a psychiatric or mental health facility.
- Knowledge of current psychiatric nursing practices and protocols.
