• Days, Full-time, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the Intermediate Care / Progressive Care Unit / Stepdown unit for adult patients.
• Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms, administer medications, and respond to patient needs with clinical expertise.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Complete required assessments, documentation, and compliance protocols during and after orientation.
• Maintain certification and licensure current, including BLS and ACLS.
• Adhere to facility policies including travel compliance and drug screening requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Active Ohio license or active compact state license in hand.
• Minimum of 18 months recent experience in Med/Surg telemetry or IMC/PCU/Stepdown.
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to complete ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments successfully.
• Valid and current background checks and fingerprinting completed within 48 hours of start.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a hospital setting with adult telemetry and stepdown units.
• Knowledge of telemetry equipment and rhythm interpretation.
• Prior travel or contract nursing experience preferred but not required.
