Key Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures across various service lines, including general surgery, orthopedics, gynecology, urology, and ENT.
• Prepare and maintain sterile environments and surgical instruments.
• Support the surgical team during operations, ensuring patient safety and procedural efficiency.
• Ensure proper documentation of procedures using hospital-approved charting systems.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including radiation safety and infection control policies.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate smooth surgical workflows.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of surgical technologist experience.
• National certification: BLS, NBSTSA (NCCT not accepted).
• Radiation badge provided by the staffing agency; must be current.
• Ability to work 10-hour day shifts, Monday through Thursday, with on-call responsibilities including one full weekend and one half weekend every four weeks.
• Willing to float between service lines as needed.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with robotic-assisted surgeries.
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system.
• Prior experience in a high-volume acute care hospital setting.
