Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Day shift, 12-hour shifts, rotating weekends and holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide patient care in the ER.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments following approved nursing techniques, policies, procedures, standards of care, and state laws.
• Document patient care activities accurately and in accordance with standards.
• Perform assessments, develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Participate in department performance improvement and shared governance activities.
• Support continuity of patient care through clinical expertise and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Prioritize patient safety and experience, escalating concerns appropriately.
• Engage in professional development, peer review, and unit practice activities.

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN licensure
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
• NIHSS certification
• TNCC or TNS certification
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous ER nursing experience is a plus
• Strong critical thinking and patient safety focus
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
