Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and re-evaluate residents/patients to develop appropriate therapy plans.
• Plan and implement ongoing therapeutic physical therapy programs as prescribed by physicians or specialists.
• Provide consulting physical therapist services.
• Utilize hospital equipment and EMR systems for documentation and patient care.
• Work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, to meet hospital operational needs.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Hawaii State Physical Therapist license (must obtain upon acceptance if not currently held).
• Minimum of 6 months of experience working with adults in acute care, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing facility settings.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience working with EMR systems, preferably Meditech.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in acute inpatient, rehab, or SNF settings.
• Strong evaluation and treatment planning skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to hospital schedules.
