• Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery
Location
• Hood River, OR
Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, day shifts, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours per shift
Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum.
• Float between units as needed based on patient census and skill set.
• Adhere to AWHONN standards for patient ratios: 1:1 during labor, 1:6 postpartum.
• Complete documentation in Epic electronic medical record system.
• Follow hospital policies and protocols, including required skills such as NRP and minimum experience of 1 year in LDRP.
• Maintain awareness of on-call and holiday coverage requirements.
Required Qualifications
• Active RN license in the state of Oregon.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP).
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• Ability to provide personal transportation to multiple facility locations.
• Willingness to float within assigned facilities as needed.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• 2+ years of LDRP experience.
• Previous experience in Level III Trauma Center or Critical Access Hospital.
• Proficiency with Epic charting system in maternal care.
