Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy care to pediatric patients in a Level 1 trauma, NICU, and PICU environment.
- Participate in patient assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including emergency and critical care staff.
- Document patient progress accurately using the EPIC charting system.
- Support on-call duties as required and float within scope to meet facility needs.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and maintain certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
- Valid state license in respiratory therapy (MO license required at time of submission).
- Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
- NICU and/or PICU experience is required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced children's acute care hospital setting.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a pediatric critical care environment.
- Familiarity with EPIC electronic charting system.
- Experience with trauma, NICU, or PICU units.
