Key Responsibilities

• Perform adult acute care, outpatient, ER/Trauma MRI exams including abdominal, pelvic, head, neck, musculoskeletal, and spine imaging.
• Operate GE and Philips MRI equipment, including 1.5T scanners, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images.
• Prepare and administer contrast media, start peripheral IVs, and follow isolation precautions.
• Conduct advanced imaging procedures such as MR angiography, venography, MRCP, perfusion studies, and special imaging protocols like CINE and diffuse imaging.
• Document patient information in accordance with hospital systems, primarily Epic, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care and imaging needs.

Required Qualifications

• ARRT MR certification and ARRT R registration.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience, including travel experience required.
• NC or Compact state license required and must be in hand at start.
• Ability to work in adult acute care, outpatient, ER, and trauma settings.
• Experience with GE and Phillips MRI systems.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with adult ICU, pediatric acute care, outpatient MRI, and chest imaging such as breast MRI.
• Knowledge of special procedures like perfusion imaging and trauma MRI.
• Familiarity with Epic and other hospital documentation systems.
• Ability to float within hospital units as needed.

Note:
Candidates must meet travel compliance and be able to start within 48 hours of signing. Must have NC or Compact license in hand, with at least 2 years of MRI experience, including travel. Candidate must be comfortable floating as needed and work on different units based on census.

Additional Details:

• Shifts are on Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays, from 10:00 AM to 10:30 PM.
• No call required; weekends include Sundays.
• Travel and licensing compliance, references, and documentation are mandatory prior to start.
