Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care within the IMC, PCU, or stepdown unit
• Monitor patient vital signs, administer medications, and manage clinical documentation
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Follow facility protocols and compliance standards, including passing mandatory EKG exams
• Float between multiple campus locations as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in North Carolina
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in acute care
• Experience with cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmia management
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale
• Proficiency with peripheral line management, PICC line care, and titrating drips
• Ability to interpret EKGs and perform pass/fail assessments during compliance tests

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a PCU or stepdown unit with patient ratios of 1:5
• EPIC electronic health record system experience
