  • Rotating shifts / Full-time / 36 hours per week (3 shifts) / Onsite

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide primary nursing care to patients in a 15-bed Progressive Care Unit, including monitoring and assessment.
  • Perform telemetry monitoring, strip reading, and blood sugar fingersticks.
  • Utilize medical equipment such as Meditech charting, Pyxis medication system, BIPAP machines, and continuous cardiac monitoring.
  • Follow scheduled hours, with no guaranteed hours and no call requirements.
  • Float to all acute care units including Medical, Surgical, Peds, ICU, and ER as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Hawaii RN license (candidates not licensed in HI must obtain before start).
  • Minimum of 1 year hospital acute care experience within the last 12 months.
  • Experience in Progressive Care and telemetry preferred.
  • Skills in primary nursing, telemetry monitoring, and equipment use.

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • ACLS certification preferred.
  • PALS certification preferred.
  • NIHSS certification preferred.
  • Previous float experience across various hospital departments.
