• Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown
Location
• Jackson, TN
Schedule / Job Type
• Night shift, full-time, 3x12-hour shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
• Provide patient care on a Neuro/Surgical Telemetry unit specializing in intermediate care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to monitor and manage patients' neurological and surgical needs.
• Administer medications and treatments following strict protocols.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic health records.
• Float to other Medical/Surgical or Telemetry units and ICU as needed with minimal on-call duties.
• Adhere to hospital protocols, including holiday and weekend shift requirements.
Required Qualifications
• Valid Tennessee or compact state nursing license.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg/Telemetry experience.
• Epic electronic medical record experience within the last 12 months.
• AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Ability to pass a competency exam in Epic systems.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working in neuro or surgical telemetry units.
• Previous travel healthcare experience.
• Strong documentation and patient management skills.
