- Nights, 13-week contract, 12-hour shifts, part of a 3-shift per week schedule
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical unit, ensuring safety and quality standards are met
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and perform patient assessments
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
- Utilize medical equipment such as telemetry, bladder scanners, and other devices
- Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record system
- Respond to clinical on-call needs as required
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Minimum of 1 year of recent hospital nursing experience
- Experience in epilepsy care is preferred
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 3 or more years of nursing experience
- Proficiency with hospital EMR systems, particularly Meditech
- Experience working with video EEG, telemetry, and advanced patient monitoring equipment
- Strong adaptability and openness to feedback
