Job Title

• Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shifts, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in Intensive Medical Care (IMC), Progressive Care Unit (PCU), or Stepdown units.
• Float between units as needed, supporting various nursing teams including high-risk respiratory and COVID-19 units.
• Complete required competencies, including an online EKG and dysrhythmia assessment prior to start.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
• Document patient care accurately and promptly in the electronic health record system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in any state; can apply for a temporary license if licensed out of state (processing time 5-10 days).
• Ability to pass an online EKG and dysrhythmia competency assessment.
• EPIC Electronic Medical Record experience preferred.
• Willingness to float as directed and work every other weekend and holiday, as required.
• Must complete all mandatory modules during orientation and annually.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in IMC, PCU, or stepdown units.
• Experience with high-acuity respiratory or COVID-19 units.
• Strong documentation skills and familiarity with EPIC platform.
