• Full-time, Day shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care to patients in a 33-bed cardiac stepdown unit with a specialized focus on cardiac conditions.
• Monitor and assess patient vital signs and symptoms, ensuring timely interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update patient care plans.
• Document patient care activities accurately and in compliance with hospital policies.
• Educate patients and their families about post-discharge care and health management.

Required Qualifications

• Valid registered nurse (RN) license in the state of Oklahoma.
• Strong understanding of cardiac conditions and patient care in a cardiac stepdown setting.
• Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a cardiac stepdown or telemetry nursing unit.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
