Job Title
• Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts per week

Key Responsibilities
• Provide acute care nursing in IMC, PCU, and Stepdown units, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, manage dysrhythmias, and titrate IV drips as needed.
• Perform peripheral line and PICC line care and management.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and float between different hospital campuses as required.
• Complete mandatory compliance requirements, including EKG assessments and education modules.
• Adhere to all hospital policies, including Tardiness and Attendance policies.

Required Qualifications
• Valid RN license in the state of North Carolina.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Cardiac Telemetry or Stepdown units.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam (up to two attempts).
• Experience managing dysrhythmias and titrating cardiac drips.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment requiring float to multiple campus locations.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system.
• Knowledge of IV line care, including PICC lines.
• Ability to interpret and manage complex cardiac rhythms.
• Flexible and adaptable to unit needs, including holiday and weekend rotations.
