- Full-time, 12-hour day shifts, rotating weekends, with call rotation
Key Responsibilities
- Provide labor and delivery nursing care for approximately 80+ births per month, including support for deliveries beginning at 32 weeks gestation and up.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care in a family birth setting.
- Assist with surgical procedures in the OR, postpartum care, and couplet care to ensure a positive experience for new families.
- Participate in rotating call shifts, typically one 12-hour shift every six weeks, with potential schedule adjustments.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with hospital policies and standards.
Required Qualifications
- Current Colorado RN license or compact license for practice in Colorado, in good standing
- AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
- NRP certification required
- STABLE certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, OR, or PACU nursing
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
- Strong communication and compassionate patient care skills
