Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed occupational therapists in providing therapy services to patients.
- Support treatment plans and implement therapeutic activities under supervision.
- Monitor and document patient progress, and communicate updates to the healthcare team.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and healthcare regulations.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients during sessions.
Required Qualifications
- Valid certification/license as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA).
- Credentials specific to New Mexico caregivers are required.
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working as an OTA in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of therapeutic techniques and patient documentation procedures.
