Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job Type

• 13-week contract, nights shift (3 shifts per week), approximately 36 hours per week with the option to pick up extra shifts. Shift duration: 12 hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery units.
• Assist with patient care before, during, and after childbirth.
• Support new mothers and newborns, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Optional: perform scrub duties as needed.
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• Current Washington State nursing license or multi-state license with verification (including approved 6-hour suicide training and demographic verification via Nursys).
• BLS certification.
• NRP certification.
• STABLE training is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of Meditech electronic health record system is a plus but not mandatory.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery settings.
• Experience doing scrub duties is an added bonus.
