Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, 3x12-hour shifts, days and nights rotational, hospital-based
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care to cardiac stepdown patients, including those with structural heart conditions and post-procedural care
- Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Assist with patient education and discharge planning as needed
- Float within hospital departments as required, ensuring optimal patient care delivery
Required Qualifications
- Valid Pennsylvania or Compact State Nursing License
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in cardiac or stepdown units
- Current COVID vaccination and booster status
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Ability to obtain fingerprinting within 24-48 hours of signing
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience with structural heart patients or cardiac telemetry
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work rotating day and night shifts confidently
