Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert nursing care to patients in the Operating Room setting.
- Assist with surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to intraoperative needs.
- Document patient information and procedure details accurately.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to hospital policies and infection control standards.
Required Qualifications
- Valid California RN license in hand.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an Operating Room environment.
- Experience with electronic charting systems, specifically Epic.
- Strong knowledge of perioperative procedures and protocols.
- Ability to float within hospital departments or to affiliate facilities as needed.
- Copy of relevant certifications.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a hospital or surgical center.
- Familiarity with travel or float assignments.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with flexible scheduling.
