- Full-time, night shift (3x12 hours: 18:00 – 06:00)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to neonatal patients in the NICU setting.
- Perform accurate patient assessments and develop individual care plans.
- Document patient progress and interventions using approved electronic charting systems.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies during assigned shifts.
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and compliance standards.
Required Qualifications
- Valid California nursing license in hand.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of NICU or similar neonatal care experience.
- Experience with electronic charting systems, specifically Epic preferred.
- Must be willing to work 12-hour night shifts.
- Ability to travel to nearby facilities within the region as needed.
- References: Minimum of two supervisory references covering at least one year of relevant experience within the last three years.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience floating between hospital departments or affiliate facilities.
- Familiarity with charting policies and protocols related to neonatal care.
- Availability to work two out of three major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year).
- Compliance with travel and housing policies regarding local radius and housing arrangements.
