Schedule / Job Type

• Night shift, full-time, 5 nights per week (11:00 PM – 8:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform histology grossing and processing in an acute care hospital setting.
• Ensure accurate and timely specimen preparation and documentation.
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards.
• Float within hospital or nearby affiliate facilities as needed.
• Work scheduled weekends and two out of three major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year).

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of hospital histology experience, including grossing (grossing experience is a HARDSTOP).
• Valid CA state license preferred; pending license accepted.
• Experience with Epic electronic charting system.
• Strong clinical and technical skills in histology.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ready to travel as a first-time traveler with strong, extensive experience (over 10 years preferred).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CA State license holder.
• Experience working in acute care facilities.
• Experience using Epic or similar electronic medical record systems.
• Willingness to work 2 of the 3 major holidays.
