Key Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients in a hospital setting.
• Monitor patient vital signs, manage IV therapy, and administer medications as prescribed.
• Recognize and respond to cardiac rhythms and lainnya clinical conditions promptly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care activities accurately in accordance with hospital policies.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards during all patient interactions.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months recent and permanent experience in Medical Surgical/Telemetry nursing prior to travel assignments.
• Ohio license or Compact state license in hand at time of submission.
• Active American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
• Ability to work at least every other holiday shift.
• As applicable, must pass background checks (BCI/FBI) within 48 hours of contract signing.
• For nurse travelers: current and active permanent Ohio license or valid Compact license issued on or after January 1, 2023.
• References: One managerial or supervisory reference in the relevant specialty.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a hospital setting with adult patients.
• Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills.
• Familiarity with hospital electronic health record systems.
