Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Night shifts, 3 shifts per week (12 hours each)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit within a leading hospital system.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient responses and progress accurately in electronic health records.
• Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and safety protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Active Ohio nursing license or Compact license (accepted for starts on/after 01/01/2023).
• Minimum of 18 months recent (permanent) experience in Medical Surgical or Telemetry.
• BLS and ACLS certifications active and current.
• Ability to recognize ECG rhythms and perform safe medication practices (assessed during orientation).
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate with acceptable scores.
• Negative drug screen within the past 12 months, including nicotine testing (except Nurses and CSTs, who are exempt temporarily).
• Completion of necessary background checks (BCI/FBI) within 48 hours of contract signing.
• Ability to pass assessments and requirements related to hospital policies and safety protocols.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a hospital setting with Telemetry or Medical Surgical units.
• Experience with electronic health records and hospital-based documentation systems.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
