Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in a hybrid ICU/PCU environment
• Manage a diverse patient population including neuro, spine, cardiac, medical, and surgical patients
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to monitor and respond to patient needs effectively
• Perform advanced clinical procedures such as balloon pump management, CRRT, Impella, and open-heart care
• Conduct own labs, manage PICC lines, and respond to emergent codes confidently
• Float to various inpatient units including PCU, CCU, Med/Surg, Med/Tel, and ED as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in Critical Care/Intensive Care Unit
• Experience with balloon pump, CRRT, Impella, open-heart procedures (required for night shift)
• Valid Kansas RN license or Compact RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience drawing labs independently and managing vascular access without a vascular access team
• Ability to handle call responsibilities and conduct own patient assessments
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hybrid critical care environment
