Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type:
Full-time, 3 shifts per week, days (12-hour shifts)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the IMC, PCU, and Stepdown units, including float pool assignments
• Adapt care strategies for a range of acuity levels, potentially floating within units of similar or lower acuity
• Perform critical skills such as IV starts, telehealth, and monitoring patients to ensure safety and comfort
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Ensure compliance with all credentialing and hospital policies, including timely fingerprinting and documentation
• Maintain patient ratios of approximately 1:3 or 1:4 in a fast-paced environment

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Ohio or Compact state RN license in hand at the time of submission
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience in inpatient care
• Proven proficiency in IV starts and telehealth experience
• Ability to meet strict credentialing and compliance deadlines (including fingerprinting) before start date

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience floating across various units within a hospital setting
• Previous work in a tertiary or academic medical center environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
