Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized critical care to postoperative cardiac surgery patients in the CVICU.
• Monitor and manage patients using advanced hemodynamic monitoring and devices such as PA catheters, IABP, Impella, and CRRT.
• Perform procedures including central line insertions, Swan-Ganz catheter placements, intubations, and assist with ECMO and LVAD management.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
• Document patient assessments and care plans accurately using the Meditech system.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and maintain certification requirements.

Required Qualifications
• Valid registered nurse license in the state of Tennessee.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
• Proven strong critical care experience, including recent CVICU background.
• Skilled in hemodynamic monitoring and procedures related to cardiac care.
• Ability to work in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment with a team-focused approach.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with IABP, Impella devices, and Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT).
• Prior experience in a Level 1 or high-volume cardiac ICU setting.
• Familiarity with advanced cardiac devices such as ECMO and LVADs.

This is a travel RN position with a 13-week assignment starting at the end of April, offering a day shift schedule with opportunities to work in a state-of-the-art cardiac ICU in Nashville.
