Key Responsibilities
• Perform electroencephalogram (EEG) testing in an outpatient Cardiac Device Clinic within a clinical neurophysiology lab
• Assist with patient assessments related to heart failure, arrhythmias, ablations, cardioversions, and cardiac implant interrogations
• Proficiently glue electrodes on patients using collodion for accurate and reliable testing
• Maintain accurate documentation of testing and patient data within the EMR system
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and procedural protocols in a clinical setting
Required Qualifications
• AHA BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• REEGT (Registered EEG Technician) certification required at the time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical neurophysiology unit experience
• Pediatric experience required, as approximately 50% of patients are children
• Proficiency in gluing electrodes with collodion
• EPIC EMR system experience within the past 2 years
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working with outpatient cardiac clinics or similar specialized settings
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Additional Information
• This position involves working Monday through Sunday, with a schedule of 8-hour shifts
• No block scheduling
• Bi-weekly orientations on Mondays
• Reliable transportation is required; personal or rental vehicle recommended, especially during winter months with all-season or snow tires from November to April
• All employment gaps over 90 days must be clearly explained
• Complete employment history (bed count, EMR system, facility type, etc.) required for application submission
