X-ray / Radiologic Technology Specialist

Full-time, day shifts (4x10-hour days)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures in outpatient and hospital settings, including OR and trauma cases.
• Provide quality patient care while following facility protocols and safety standards.
• Float within scope to assist in multiple locations on the same campus as needed.
• Work a rotating on-call schedule, with 3-4 days per month requiring call duties.
• Adhere to all radiation safety policies, including maintaining a current radiation badge provided by the agency.
• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records (Epic).

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiography.
• AHA BLS certification.
• Minimum of 1 year recent OR/X-ray experience, including C-arm procedures.
• Valid South Carolina state license in hand prior to start date.
• Recent trauma experience preferred; O-arm experience a plus.
• Radiation badge provided by staffing agency; MUSC does not supply badges to travelers.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with O-arm imaging.
• Trauma care experience.
• Ability to float across multiple facilities within the campus.
