Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients on the telemetry unit.
- Monitor and interpret remote medical telemetry equipment and patient observation systems.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
- Prepare patients for procedures such as Endoscopy, IR, and OR as needed.
- Document patient information accurately using the Cerner EMR system.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina.
- BLS certification.
- At least 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in telemetry or medical-surgical units.
- Ability to work night shifts and adhere to unit policies and procedures.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Leadership or charge nurse experience.
- BSN degree.
- Experience with patient remote telemetry monitoring and Cerner EMR.
