Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care for a mixed Medical/Surgical unit with approximately 30 beds.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort, following established protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality care delivery.
- Monitor patient conditions and document accurately in medical records.
- Uphold infection control and safety standards at all times.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license and active state licensure.
- Minimum of 2 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience.
- BLS certification is required; ACLS preferred.
- Experience in a level 1 trauma, mid-large hospital, or equivalent setting.
- Positive attitude with a focus on timely, compassionate patient care.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a dedicated education unit.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, diverse healthcare environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
