• Night shift, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical unit, including those recovering from acute illnesses or surgery.
• Assess patient conditions and deliver appropriate interventions for both ambulatory and bedridden patients requiring total care.
• Follow all unit protocols and clinical standards to ensure patient safety and quality care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient treatment plans.
• Document patient care activities accurately and promptly.

Required Qualifications

• Current and active Registered Nurse license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical Surgical specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Certification in NIHSS and ACLS (or ability to obtain)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in neurology, neurosurgery, ENT, or general surgery units
• Familiarity with patient populations recovering from both surgical procedures and acute illnesses
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload, including both ambulatory and critically ill patients
