Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed therapists in providing rehabilitative physical therapy services to patients
- Prepare treatment areas and equipment prior to therapy sessions
- Document patient progress and treatment details accurately and promptly
- Follow established protocols and safety guidelines during patient care
- Collaborate with healthcare team to support optimal patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active license as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- Experience setting up therapy equipment and assisting in patient care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a rehabilitation or outpatient setting
- Familiarity with documentation and electronic medical records
- Experience with patient assessment and supportive therapies
