Job Title

• Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical Telemetry (IMC/PCU/Stepdown)

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 13-week contract, Days and Nights rotating shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a Medical-Surgical Telemetry setting with a focus on cardiac patients and structural heart cases
• Float as needed within the hospital to different units, including IMC/PCU/Stepdown, ensuring consistent patient care coverage
• Document patient information accurately using hospital systems without specific charting experience required
• Adhere to established protocols for patient safety and quality care standards
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient treatment plans
• Complete required certifications and compliance procedures prior to start

Required Qualifications

• Valid PA license or Compact license (must be active at time of submission)
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in a hospital setting or as specified by the client
• COVID vaccination and booster status required
• Ability to obtain fingerprinting within 24-48 hours after signing and complete drug screening promptly
• Meet travel compliance requirements, including SSN and DOB verification at submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units with a focus on cardiac care
• Familiarity with cardiac telemetry monitoring is a plus
• Strong communication skills and ability to adapt to floating between facilities and units

Additional Notes

• No call requirement; rotating shifts are typically a week of days followed by a week of nights
• The facility is within a 10-mile radius, and all shifts are scheduled with advance notice
• Candidates must meet all compliance and licensing requirements prior to start to avoid delays

Note: All candidates must be comfortable with floating to sister facilities within the same hospital system. Fingerprinting and drug testing are urgent prerequisites to onboarding.
