Registered Nurse LTAC

Job Title

• Registered Nurse (LTAC) - ICU / Med-Surg

Location

• Travelers Rest, SC

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shifts (3x12 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients with diagnoses including ventilator weaning, wound care, spinal cord injuries, trach and PEG management.
• Float between ICU and Medical-Surgical units based on census needs, ensuring all tasks are performed within demonstrated and documented competencies.
• Administer medications using Omnicell medication system and manage patient care utilizing EPIC EMR with at least one year of recent experience.
• Adhere to all hospital protocols, including infection control and patient safety procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes during night shifts.

Required Qualifications

• Valid South Carolina RN license.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Minimum of one year recent experience in an ICU or Med-Surg unit.
• Experience with EPIC EMR system.
• Ability to work night shifts and float to different units as needed.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in LTAC settings.
• Comfort with ventilator weaning, wound care, spinal cord injury, trach, and PEG procedures.
• Familiarity with Omnicell medication system.
