Key Responsibilities
- Function as a consultant to staff and patients on skin prevention, wound management, ostomies, and continence needs.
- Provide direct patient care for individuals with complex wound and ostomy concerns.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Support and encourage effective communication among staff, patients, and families.
- Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with clinical standards and certifications.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a registered nurse degree program.
- Valid Registered Nurse license in Pennsylvania.
- Minimum of 3 years of full-time professional nursing experience with medical-surgical patients.
- Board certification in Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing.
- Meets American Heart Association standards for Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS), renewed every two years.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in wound care or ostomy management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
