Contract | Night Shift (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 5 days per week, every other weekend | 40 hours per week | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct psychiatric nursing care to patients during overnight shifts in an inpatient setting
- Monitor patient safety, mental status, and response to treatment throughout the shift
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner
Required Qualifications
- Active Connecticut Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Psychiatric nursing experience
- Availability to work every weekend or a predominantly weekend schedule
- Travel nursing experience
