Registered Nurse Ambulatory Care/Clinic/Outpatient

Job Title: RN Outpatient Clinic - GI Oncology

Location: Columbus, OH

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Days (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide outpatient nursing care for adult and geriatric patients in a GI oncology clinic setting
• Document patient visits accurately using the EPIC system
• Assist with procedures including IV starts, blood glucose testing, and specimen collection
• Respond to cardiac emergencies and perform CPR when necessary
• Support patient education and ensure quality care during approximately 125 visits per day

Required Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse license (compact or state license valid in Ohio)
• At least 2 years of outpatient nursing experience
• BLS certification
• Ability to work 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Certification in ONS or OCN
• Experience with GI oncology patient care
• Familiarity with EPIC documentation system
• Skills in blood glucose testing, IV insertion, and specimen collection
