Job Title
• Registered Nurse – CVICU

Location
• Columbus, OH

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, rotating shifts, 12-hour days and nights, with some weekends and holiday rotations

Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized nursing care to cardiac ICU patients with a focus on post-operative and critical cardiac cases
• Float within units of equivalent or lower acuity levels as needed
• Administer IV therapies, airway management including vents, telemonitoring, and conscious sedation
• Manage balloon pumps, PA lines, and other advanced cardiac interventions
• Ensure patient safety and compliance with established protocols and best practices
• Document patient progress and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams

Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of Cardiac ICU experience
• Valid state or compact nursing license in hand at time of submission
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)
• Skilled in IV starts, telemonitoring, vents, Swan Ganz, conscious sedation, balloon pumps, and PA lines
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Experience with septic procedures preferred

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Previous ICU or cardiac specialty experience in a travel nursing environment
• Ability to adapt quickly to fast-paced, high-acuity settings
