Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shift (3x12-hour shifts)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in an intermediate or stepdown unit, floating as needed to other PCU or stepdown areas within the hospital network.
• Manage patient ratios of approximately 1:3-4, ensuring safe and effective care delivery.
• Perform IV starts, telehealth, and other critical nursing skills with a focus on patient safety and comfort.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure compliance with all hospital policies.
• Complete required documentation accurately and promptly.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of RN experience in a hospital setting, preferably in IMC, PCU, or stepdown units.
• Valid RN license in Ohio or a compact state, with no pending disciplinary actions.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience with IV starts and telehealth technology.
• Willingness to float within units of similar or lower acuity levels.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience working in a hospital that requires credentialing and fingerprinting compliance.
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
