• Registered Nurse - ICU (MICU) Travel Assignment
Location
• Dallas, TX
Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, travel, 13-week assignment, night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), working 3 nights per week
Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized critical care to MICU patients in a hospital setting
• Perform ICU procedures including central line placements, thoracentesis, dialysis catheter placements, cardioversion, and intubations
• Monitor and operate ICU equipment such as ventilators, cardiac monitors, and dialysis machines
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech system
• Adapt to unit acuity and staffing needs, including floating as required
Required Qualifications
• Active RN license in Texas (no temporary licenses)
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU (MICU/MSICU) experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience with ICU equipment and procedures listed above
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Meditech electronic medical record system experience
• CCRN certification preferred
