Job Title
• Certified Surgical Technologist

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, rotating shifts, 5 days per week

Key Responsibilities
• Assist in the delivery of patient care as part of the surgical team under the direction of the Registered Nurse
• Prepare and maintain a sterile environment before and during surgical procedures, including opening instruments and supplies following established protocols
• Ensure patient safety by performing all aspects of care, verifying correct site procedures, counts, and equipment readiness
• Maintain a clean and sanitary operating room environment before, during, and after procedures
• Perform accurate sponge, needle, and instrument counts to prevent errors and ensure safety

Required Qualifications
• Current certification as a Surgical Technologist
• Prior surgical tech experience or training in an operating room setting
• Knowledge of sterile techniques and OR safety procedures
• Ability to work rotating shifts and adhere to protocols and safety standards
• Attended departmental orientation and maintains current competencies and certifications

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working in surgical or hospital environments
• Familiarity with age-specific patient care and operating room safety procedures
