Job Title

• Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) / Medical Technologist / Clinical Lab Scientist

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive laboratory testing including Chemistry, Immunochemistry, Coagulation, Hematology, Urinalysis, and manual testing procedures.
• Conduct Rapid Covid and Rapid Influenza testing, as well as manual body fluid and CSF cell counts and differentials.
• Support transfusion services and central processing operations.
• Provide training for new staff and medical technology students.
• Ensure strict compliance with credentialing and fingerprinting requirements prior to shift start.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely processing of lab results in a 24/7 lab environment.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year relevant laboratory experience.
• Associate’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field.
• Proficiency with EMR systems, specifically EPIC (recent experience required).
• Valid certification such as ASCP MLT/MLS or AMT.
• Valid Ohio license or appropriate licensure for RNs or MRI Techs.
• Ability to complete fingerprinting and credentialing promptly.
• Experience with Tier 4 travel compliance protocols.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Recent travel laboratory experience.
• Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced lab environment.
• Ability to adapt quickly to shift work and comply with strict deadlines.
