Key Responsibilities

• Provide critical care nursing in various ICU units, including Neuro ICU, Surgical ICU, Medical ICU (MICU), Cardiology/Diagnostics, CVICU, SICU, and NCCU.
• Float between units based on staffing needs and patient acuity, ensuring high-quality patient care.
• Manage ventilators, IV starts, telemetry, and maintain proficiency with electronic health record systems.
• Adhere to unit policies regarding float requirements within equal or lower acuity units.
• Complete certifications and documentation necessary for compliance and credentialing.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record system.
• Valid compact or state license for Ohio.
• Demonstrated competency in IV starts, telemetry, and ventilator management.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in multiple ICU specialties.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different ICU environments.
