- Full-time, Days shifts, 5 days per week, 9-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical services within the Healthcare for the Homeless Primary Care Program, supporting patient care and assisting medical staff.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of all care and services provided, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist providers and clinic staff to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care and optimal resource utilization.
- Monitor and manage medication inventory and supplies, including performing quality control checks on point-of-care tests.
- Uphold infection control policies, maintain a safe and clean work environment, report safety hazards, and manage equipment upkeep.
- Participate in mandatory training, in-services, and staff meetings to stay current with clinic standards and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Alaska.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of primary care nursing experience.
- Knowledge of nursing assessment techniques, specimen collection, and medical equipment use.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Additional Notes
- Must have an active Alaska nursing license at the time of submittal.
- Proof of flu vaccination required.
- Start date to be no less than 5 weeks after receipt of fingerprint processing at SEARHC in Juneau. Promptly schedule and mail fingerprint cards to avoid delays.
