- Full-time, temporary, 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Float between various medical and surgical units, including Medical, Laulima, and occasionally Cardiovascular.
- Provide patient care in accordance with unit-specific protocols and procedures.
- Utilize medical equipment such as Meditech EMR, pyxis medication system, wound vacs, and chest tubes.
- Adhere to professional nursing standards and dress code of clean scrubs.
- Participate in orientation and unit-specific training programs to ensure seamless integration.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Hawaii nursing license (must obtain prior to start date if not currently licensed).
- Active BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
- 2+ years of nursing experience.
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, ENPC certifications are a plus.
- Experience floating to various units/departments including Medical, Laulima, and Cardiovascular.
